About Us

Impact For Life Campus is a faith based non-profit corporation offering hope and resources to individuals and families in Houston community for over 24 years. The generous support from the community is recognized as the foundation for all of the services that are provided by the ministry

Volunteers contribute in many capacities, to provide valuable services throughout the ministry.

History

Bear Creek Assistance Ministries Inc. DBA Impact for Life Campus was established in 1985 by 5 area churches for the purpose of discovering a way to meet the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of people in the northwest Houston communities who were faced with the crisis of the inability to pay rent, feed or clothe their families. The ministry provided food, clothing, and financial assistance to those in need.

Since its inception, the ministry has offered a holistic program, with additional services including an Employment / Education Center, ESL classes, Computer classes, Todays Children (daycare supplement for clients getting started in a new job position), the professional dress closet, and Life Skills Program. The organization has also offered special program outreach including the Kids Summer Lunch Program, Caring Hands School Supplies Program, Holiday Meals Distribution, and Christmas Express for Kids.  The ability to refer clients to other agencies for need specific assistance stretches resources and opportunities for those in need. Impact For Life Campus has become a significant and valued amenity in the northwest Houston community. Programs are fully based on available funding to sustain their consistancy; financial assistance through individual and community donations are an imperative link to the cycle of reinvestment.
